Calvin is the brother of Yvonne Lucas, who is married to Hopi potter, Steve Lucas. 
Calvin is mixing Hopi & Laguna clays for an amazing effect - almost a marbled,wooden effect.  His pots are coiled old style into traditional shapes and forms.  The pieces are very lightweight and precisely painted.
