Originally $750

This artistically matted and framed depiction of the archetypal Mother Earth and Father Sky exemplifies the diligence, dedication to tradition, and creativity of Joe Ben. He believes that “Sand, like peace, is fragile" and conveys that thought in the delicate imagery of this plaque. To attain the vibrancy of his hues he uses a large variety of natural elements ranging from naturally colored sand to mineral rocks, coal, diamond dust, and semiprecious stones. Joe is a native of Shiprock, NM.
