Mangus Colorado Slinkey "Little Elk" is from Window Rock, AZ.  He started learning jewelry making from his father in the late 1990's.  All of his jewelry is fabricated, not cast.  He often uses gold as an overlay over silver, which is oxidized to enhance the contrast between the two metals.  He often sets high quality turquoise stones into his pieces.
